Terms and Conditions
By submitting a down payment for stove work by Chambers Rescue LLC, you are agreeing to the following terms:
- The total cost of your stove has been determined by the base price for the work, plus any options you have selected, as stated in your invoice.
- Should any additional necessary repairs be discovered during the restoration process, Chambers Rescue will notify you about the work and the cost before initiating that work.
- Unless otherwise agreed upon, your down payment will consist of 50% of the total cost. The remainder will be due upon completion of the agreed upon work.
- Payment plans are available and must be discussed and confirmed in writing by both parties in advance of the down payment being made.
- See page 1 for your payment plan details.
- Your down payment is non-refundable.
- Upon completion, you will be provided with pictures and a video of your stove to demonstrate that it is in full working order commensurate with the requested work.
- An estimated time frame for the completion of your stove has been provided. Every effort will be made to meet this delivery date. Please note, however, that this is not a guarantee and third party work (plating, enameling, etc) are beyond the control of Chambers Rescue and may delay completion.
- Your final payment is due upon receipt of the invoice and must be completed before the stove is picked up.
- A late fee of 25% will be applied to final payments not made within 30 days of the invoice.
- After 90 days, an unpaid stove will be deemed abandoned and will be sold.
- Arrangements for the delivery of a stove to and from the Chambers Rescue workshop are the sole responsibility of the customer.
- Chambers Rescue will work with you and/or any third party you contract with to facilitate moving the stove in order to ensure the stove’s safe arrival.
- Any damage that occurs to the stove during transportation is the sole responsibility of the party transporting the stove.
- If Chambers Rescue believes the stove will not be transported safely, it may refuse release of the stove until the customer releases Chambers Rescue from any liability prior to loading.
- Stoves that have not been picked up within 30 days are subject to a monthly storage fee of $150, billable at the beginning of the 30 day period.
- Your stove must be connected to your gas line in accordance with the rules and regulations in your location. Chambers Rescue does not connect gas appliances.
- Your stove’s performance in your home may be different than what was documented in the Chambers Rescue workshop video (due to variations in fuel pressure, etc). On-site set-up and calibration may be required. In this case, Chambers Rescue will make itself available for phone and/or video call consultation in order to ensure the stove is working properly in your home.
