A lot of people ask how to tell the difference between a Chambers model A, B and C, but there isn’t a lot of accurate information in one place.
This is an attempt to be both comprehensive and accurate about the main details of the most popular Chambers models. If you spot anything missing, just let me know.
Model A
Made: 1936 – 1938
Dimensions
- Width: 37.5"
- Depth: 29.5"
- Cooktop Height: 36″
Original Options
- Top: Black or chrome
- Handles: Black, chrome. teal/aqua or white
- Body colors: White, ivory, black
- Thumb latches: Red, green, white or black

Model B

One last note on the C:
The 41C and 31C were thought of as “bargain” models. They often, but not always, came with plastic dials instead of the chrome ones most Chambers lovers are familiar with.
