Tappan stoves are often underappreciated gems. True kitchen workhorses, the oven maintain a nice even temperature (that’s a Robershaw model X thermostat after all) and the burners offer a nice full flame range.
A nice add-on here are the original art deco glass salt and pepper shakers. I’ve restored this model a few times and this is the first time I’ve seen one with both the drawer for the shakers and the shakers themselves.
The left side is additional storage and the drawer underneath the oven is the broiler.
If you’re looking for something unique that won’t let you down in the kitchen, this is a great contender.
