If you’re looking for a model C, it helps to understand how I work with them:
- I always have model Cs in stock.
- I cannot possibly photograph them all (if I tried, I wouldn’t get to actually restore them).
- If you want a model C, especially a white one, tell me what you want it to look like when it’s done. Then I will build you exactly what you want based on your preferences, budget and so on.
- You can fully customize a model C or get one that is all original.
- Copper plating is much more expensive than porcelain.
- The most common colors are white, yellow and red (in that order). Green, blue, black and gray are much less common, but almost any color can be made in new porcelain for you.
- Check out the Process & Options page to understand how I work and all your choices.
The pictures here are of stoves that have been sold. Use them to get some inspiration.
If you want some more ideas for what your stove could look like, check out these pictures of recently restored stoves.
And also stoves in their new kitchens.

Color
Most stoves are white, and many people leave them that way (I did). But you can also choose an original color or a custom color to have your stove refinished in.
Chrome or Copper Plating
The original hardware (and most tops) were chrome. But you can add new chrome, nickel or copper to most parts of your stove if you like!
Accessories
The model C had options for skirts, high backsplashes or low ones, griddle covers, tapered legs or the original steel legs, casters and so much more.
New Enamel or Old
Burners, grates and drip rings were all enameled. Time has taken some of that enamel off. You can put it back on professionally or have the patina of seasoning added to them for preservation.
