This rare Chambers Imperial features two ovens, two Thermowells, 6 burners, a large broiler and griddle, and a large storage compartment.

It has been extremely well preserved. The porcelain is perfect. The black enamel top has some blemishes to the finish which you can see in the pictures. The stove has been priced accordingly. (If you would like to have those areas repaired for you upon purchase, that can be arranged.)

The Imperial was Chambers’ commercial line – designed for hotels, restaurants and very large estates. There were different configurations, but they all featured two ovens.

This particular model is absolutely scarce. It’s the first one I’ve seen in person and I’ve only seen a picture of one other survivor. I have not found any evidence of a third example of this model Imperial.

Shipping anywhere in the United States will be arranged for an additional fee.

This restoration is complete and the stove is ready for use. Upon purchase, it will be set up for the fuel type of your choice (propane or natural gas).

The stovetop burners are all match lit (as was common for commercial stoves for decades).

Both ovens have had modern standing pilots (safety pilots) installed so the stove is code compliant anywhere and everywhere.

Here is a list of the work that has been done to it, both cosmetically and mechanically:

  • Replace springs
  • Mitigate rust
  • Preserve chassis and other parts with high heat paint
  • Season all cast iron burners
  • Align doors
  • Replace mica
  • Adjust damper plates for secure seal
  • Clean and inspect gas lines, replace as necessary
  • Deep cleaning of the entire stove
  • Replace any missing parts
  • Rebuild gas valves
  • Rebuild thermostats
  • Lubricate all moving parts
  • Check for and eliminate leaks
  • Calibrate thermostat and burners
  • Test for optimal performance
  • Polishing
  • Re-enamel interior oven panels and runners
  • Re-enamel all burners, grates and drip pans
  • Replate all chrome, including the griddle.
  • Safety valves installed for each oven
